Built inside a catering department, not a conference room.
OrderHQ was built by people who have taken the orders, printed the sheets, and charged the cards — not a software company that saw a market. It started inside a real catering operation, got tested on real Christmas Eve orders, and only shipped when the kitchen said it was right.
We looked at everything out there. The enterprise systems took months to set up and still couldn't handle a large operation the way it actually runs. The marketplaces wanted a cut of every order you already earned. So we built the system the counter and the kitchen actually needed.
What we believe
The kitchen works off paper. A production sheet has to read the way the person making the food reads it. If the software can't get the paper right, nothing else matters.
Your customers are yours. A marketplace that sits between you and the people who order from you every holiday is renting you your own relationships. We don't do that, and we don't take a percentage.
Warn, don't block. Staff know things software doesn't. When an order is unusual, OrderHQ says so and lets the person at the counter decide.
Nothing is special for us. Every feature works for a five-store market at its December peak and for a single deli doing twenty orders a week. Same software, same price.
Who we are
OrderHQ LLC is an independent company in New York. Our first customers are the operators we know: specialty markets, Italian delis, and pizzerias with a real catering business on the side. If that sounds like you, we'd like to see your menu.
